Rainbow Magic Wand

Happy Pride Month! This week we wanted to share this Rainbow Magic Wand to help celebrate love! This craft is fun for adults and children to make and a great way to spread love and awareness. Check out the easy tutorial and material list then create an easy pride craft.

What do you need to make a Rainbow Magic Wand?

• Wooden or paper heart
• Markers
• Ribbon
• Dowel
• Glue gun
• Ruler

How to make a Rainbow Magic Wand:

• Colour the heart shape with rainbow colours. Be creative!
• Glue coloured ribbon onto a wooden dowel using a hot glue gun.
• Glue the heart shape to the top of the dowel on the coloured ribbon.

Easy Picture Tutorial!

First, outline the Pride flag on the heart with a ruler.

Then colour in with markers.

Crafting tip – If you are using a wooden heart we recommend painting it white before colouring.

Next, prepare the wand handle. Glue rainbow colours of ribbon onto one end of the wooden dowel with a hot glue gun.

Finally, attach the heart to the top of the dowel, on top of the ribbons using the hot glue gun.

This wand is fun for kids to make too!

Follow the same steps, letting kids colour as they would like with a rainbow of coloured markers.
