This Canada Day Decoration – Paper Plate Wreath is so easy to make and looks amazing on the front door! All you need is a quick trip to the dollar store to grab paper plates, red and white paper, and red maple leaf sequins. This craft can be made with kids too, but, depending on their age, they need help with glue and scissors.

What do you need to make a Canada Day Paper Plate Wreath?
- Red and white paper
- Paper plate
- Scissors
- Glue
- Maple leafs
How do you make a Paper Plate Wreath?
- Cut the centre out of a paper plate.
- Cut 2″ wide strips from the red and white paper.
- Wrap the strips of paper around the plate – alternating colours.
- Cut the ends of each loop into chevrons.
- Glue a maple leaf near the end of each white loop.
How to make an Easy Canada Day Decoration – Tutorial

Use glue to secure the paper. We used a hot glue gun but you can use paper glue as well.
Cut the ends of each loop into chevrons to create a “ribbon” appearance.
Glue a maple leaf near the end of each white loop.
