I Scream, U Scream, DIY Ice Cream Bowls for Summer Holidays

It’s summer long weekend time! Nothing goes better together than sunny days and icy treats, both kids and adults are always ready for ice cream and it was a cute rhyme that inspired us to make these fun ice cream bowls. We think these adorable ice cream bowls are perfect for any summer long weekend BBQ or patio party. What You’ll Need:
  • Four bowls
  • Paint pens in white and gold
  • Graphite paper
  • Template – get it here
  • Scissors
  • Masking tape
  • Ballpoint pen

How to make DIY Ice Cream Bowls:

Print out the template, you may have to resize depending on bowl size. Cut out each of the labels, cutting close to the words on the top and bottom.

Cut out a piece of graphite paper about the same size as the labels.

Lay the first label on top of the graphite paper and then use some tape to secure it in place on the front of one bowl.

Take a ballpoint pen and then draw on top of each of the letters which will leave a pattern behind. Remove the label and then the graphite paper.

Cover each of the graphite lines with the white paint pen. Don’t worry if you don’t cover all of graphite lines, they easily will rub off after the paint is dry.

Draw small dashes all over the bowl with white and gold paint pens to make sprinkles and then repeat the same steps on the rest of the bowls.
