These Easter Bunny pots can be painted any colour, something to keep in mind when your shopping for supplies. Each dollar store has slightly different materials each season, so you never know exactly what you’ll find — especially when considering the bunny ears!

There are so many different bunnies to create. It’s cute to see what everyone comes up with, their individual choices are adorable!

After a trip to the dollar store, be sure to place some paper down on your crafting surface, because this craft gets messy!

What do you need to make Easy Easter Bunny Pots?

• Easter bunny ears
• Clay pots – medium in size but big enough to support your bunny ears.
• Child friendly paints – in any colour!
• Paint brushes
• Two medium Pom Poms
• One small Pom Pom
• Pipe cleaners
• Googly eyes
• Ribbon or other accessory
• Hot glue gun with glue or child safe glue for the littles

How to make an Easy Easter Craft for Kids to Make

• Firstly, paint the clay pot in the desired colour.
• Set it aside to dry. It won’t take long to dry.
• Using a glue gun or child safe glue add the googly eyes, PomPom nose and muzzle, whiskers and accessories
• Set aside to dry
• Add the cute bunny ears using glue (allow to dry again!)
• When all the glue has dried, fill your pot with delicious Easter goodies!

Easy Tutorial!

Firstly, paint the clay pot in the desired colour. Then set it aside to dry — the hardest part for the little ones. But don’t worry, the clay pot absorbs moisture and the paint will dry fairly quickly!

When the pot is dry, add the facial features!

Using a glue gun or child safe glue add the googly eyes, PomPom nose and cheeks.

Create your bunnies whiskers using pipe cleaners. Wrap the pipe cleaner around a pencil to create curls, then cut the pipe cleaner into small pieces and glue them onto the bunny, just under the cheeks.

Take your time and allow the glue to dry completely when finished.

Remove the bunny ears from the headband or hair clips. Some are glued on and only need to be pulled off and some need to be removed with scissors.

Add the cute bunny ears using glue (this step is definitely easier when using a hot glue gun).

Remember to take your time and allow the glue to dry completely when finished.

Finally, fill your bunny with yummy Easter treats and enjoy!!

We wanted to keep the cost down with this decoration, seeing as half of it cannot be reused next year, so it is considered a dollar store craft!  A clear cylinder vase, two cute ceramic bunnies, glass jars of different sizes, some pretty pink flowers and candy can create all three of these Easter centrepiece decoration ideas. Keep in mind, the items you find don’t have to be the same, as long as the idea is the same.  

DIY Easter Decorating Ideas – Using Candy!

What do you need for a DIY Easter decoration?

• Glass cylinder vase
• Small decorative jar
• Mason jar
• Artificial flowers
• Ceramic bunnies
• Candy of your choice (we used Easter coloured jelly eggs)

Each decorating idea is very simple to accomplish so it’s easy to do more then just one. Simply arrange the candy inside of the jar as you see fit and add elements to the top, side and middle!  Firstly, we used a ceramic bunny in the tall cylindrical vase. For another jar, we placed the flowers in a mason jar.

The small decorative jar is perfect for the smaller beans. To create a carrot appearance add some orange beans first then add some green ones, next pop one of the ceramic bunnies next to it to add to scene! Finally, arrange the jars and vases together or on separate tables. These will be very cute conversational pieces for the Easter season, right threw to the festive dinner.

All you’ll need to make these treat bags are a paper punch (or a Cricut machine), pink paper, glue and white paper bags. When you have all the hearts punched out, simply glue them onto the bags and then had them out, filled with sweet treats for the perfect easy Valentine’s goodie bags!

Firstly, using a paper punch or cricut machine, cut twelve hearts per bag from the coloured paper.

There are plenty of choices also, different grab bag styles and you could use ribbon instead of garland. Fill the bags with peanut friendly snacks, candies as well as pencils, erasers, puzzles and more! Keep in mind…It’s best to do this craft after lunch or dinner, because the kids will definitely want to “test” the candies before they fill the bags.

Treat Bag Banner for Halloween

What you’ll need to make Halloween Treat Banner for a COVID Halloween

• Halloween grab bags
• Garland or ribbon
• Clothes pegs
• Candy
• Small toys – pencils, erasers, bouncy balls, rings etc

Firstly, fill the bags with all the Halloween treats. The kids will have a ball picking what should go into each bag…and sampling the candy along the way!

Secondly, once the bags are full, select the area you would like to hang the banner. If indoors, along a mantel is a great idea, or in a doorway. To keep a distance at Halloween, place the banner between two sticks on your front lawn.

Add the bags to the garland with clothes pegs. This is an easy way for the kids to get their grab bags. Clothes pegs can be dropped onto the ground and replaced with another as the night goes on!

These treat bags are so easy to make, a paper punch (or a cricut machine), blue and red paper, glue and white paper bags are all you need to get the job done. Red, White and Stars – Easy Fourth of July Treat Bags

What you’ll need:

• Blue and Red paper
• Star paper punch or Cricut machine
• Glue
• White paper bags

Using a paper punch or cricut machine, cut six red stars and six blue stars per bag from the coloured paper.

Once the starts are cut, glue them onto bags, set aside to completely dry.
