What You’ll Need: 25 Corks Orange paint Green Paint Floral Wire Felt or Silk Leaves Paint Brush Glue We’ll start with 24 of the corks. What You’ll Need:
  • 25 Corks
  • Orange paint
  • Green Paint
  • Floral Wire
  • Felt or Silk Leaves
  • Paint Brush
  • Glue

We’ll start with 24 of the corks. Start by pouring some orange paint onto a plate or dish and then dip the end of each cork into the paint. Dab excess paint onto a paper towel. Repeat for all 24 corks and then let dry. Repeat the same again on the opposite sides of the corks.

We used a burlap ribbon and painted it for texture and depth – but a green ribbon or tulle would work equally well if you’re not in the mood to break out your paints. What you’ll need:         
  • Orange felt – the thicker the better

Glue the carrots together at the tops, overlapping slightly, so the carrots spread out. Add some burlap ribbon by piling it on top of itself to create volume.

What You’ll Need: Wood board (at least 10” by 10”) Small nails Hammer Crochet thread Scissors Ruler Leaf template – get it here Print out the leaf template and then position it on the wood board. Start hammering the nails into the board, following the outline of the leaf. Place the nails about ½” apart. Once the entire leaf is filled outlined, lift the template away from the board, to rip the paper off. Hammer more nails around the outside of the board, about ½” apart, all the way around. Tie a thread to a nail on the outside of the board. Start winding the thread between nails, going back and forth multiple times, until it starts to look full. Remember to wrap a thread around the leaf pattern, leaving the leaf empty. Doing so will help outline and highlight the leaf shape. Change thread colours to make each corner a different colour. What You’ll Need:
  • Wood board (at least 10” by 10”)
  • Small nails
  • Hammer
  • Crochet thread
  • Scissors
  • Ruler
  • Leaf template – get it here

  • Toilet paper or paper towel roll
  • Pattern ribbon for base layer
  • Solid colour ribbon – the width needs to be smaller than the base ribbon
  • Coloured twine
  • Fall themed stamps
  • Black ink
  • Hot glue gun and sticks
