This craft is fun, easy and ends up being super cute when it’s finished by adding a photo or drawing for a special someone. The kids will love using the Q-Tips with the paint, creating fun dots on the popsicle stick frame.

What do you need to make a Valentine’s Kids Craft Popsicle Stick Frame?

• 8 popsicle sticks
• All purpose, kid friendly glue
• Q-Tips
• Paint in red, white and pink
• A photo or drawn picture to frame

How do you make a Valentine’s Kids Craft Popsicle Stick Frame?

• Glue 8 popsicle sticks together with all purpose kid friendly glue, allow to dry.
• Dip the Q-Tips into the paint and place some dots along the popsicle sticks, create different patterns and designs, set aside to dry.
• Cut a heart out of card stock for a picture frame back. Glue this onto the painted popsicle stick frame.
• Add a picture or drawing!

Firstly, arrange the popsicle sticks into a square, with the horizontal sticks sitting on tope of the vertical ones. Add the other four so there are two popsicle sticks on each side (see picture)

Secondly, glue the sticks into place and set them aside to dry

Once the glue has dried, paint the popsicle sticks using the Q-Tips. Dip one end of the Q-Tip into the paint and place dots around the frame. It’s always fun to see what design each child creates.

While the popsicle stick frame is drying, cut a heart out of card stock. Once the paint has dried, glue it to the card stock heart to create a frame “backing” to hold the photo or drawing.

Lastly, add a photo or drawing!!

It’s super easy to make this Christmas bucketlist and all the materials are found at the dollar store, making this an inexpensive Christmas craft too. All you need to do is paint some popsicle sticks then write the experiences you wish to have this Christmas! Place them in a tin bucket, which can also be found at the dollar store, fill with some tissue paper or Christmas wrapping paper and your set.

Once the finished popsicle sticks are in the bucket, draw a different popsicle stick activity when you’re looking for a break from the busyness of Christmas and need a Christmasy tradition!

• Popsicle Sticks

• Fine point permanent marker or paint pen
• Tin bucket
• Tissue paper or wrapping paper as filling if needed

How to Make a Christmas Popsicle Stick Bucket List

Firstly, paint some popsicle sticks with acrylic paint, then set them aside to dry completely.

Once dry, using the permanent marker or paint pens (fine point) write an experience or tradition on the end of the popsicle sticks. One experience per popsicle stick.

Finally, place them in a decorated tin bucket. If the bucket is big, fill the bottom with tissue paper or even some Christmas wrapping paper, just enough so the popsicle sticks pop out of the top!

Lastly, enjoy a Christmas experience or tradition once a day, once a week or any day you want to feel a little extra Christmas cheer!
