These creepy quesadillas are perfect for Halloween, they are super easy (honestly!) to make and so much fun. Littles can help with this recipe too, making scary faces and adding their favourite toppings. Serve these at your Halloween get together, or for a festive weekday feast! This blog post may contain affiliate links. What does that mean? We may get a small commission if you make a purchase using our links, which helps us to keep posting new holiday content every week. This recipe is fairly simple, great for picky eaters. But there’s lots of room for kicking up the flavour – try adding shredded rotisserie chicken, avocado, refried beans, green onions and any other toppings you love. What You’ll Need: Tortillas Red pepper Onion Salt and pepper Oil Cheddar and Mozzarella shredded cheese Salsa Cutting board Sharp knife Large pan Firstly, thinly slice the onion and red pepper. Add the sliced onions, red peppers, salt and pepper, and oil to a pan. And then cook on medium heat for 5-7 minutes. Place a tortilla on a cutting board. Use a sharp knife to cut eyes into the tortilla. And then some nostrils, and finish the face with a scary smile. Top another tortilla with some of the cooked onions and red peppers, and then the two shredded cheeses, and then some salsa. Top the quesadilla with the scary face we cut out earlier. Cook the tortilla in a pan on medium heat for about 10 minutes. We recommend not flipping the tortilla as the cheese will melt through the face holes and will certainly leave a bit of a mess. These creepy quesadillas are such a fun Halloween food idea – perfect for lunch, dinner and party appetizers! Easy Creepy Quesadillas We hope you loved this creepy Halloween dinner recipe. If you need a Halloween dessert idea, certainly check out our Pumpkin Patch Cupcakes, so cute and so tasty!

Scary Caesar Cocktails https://www.champagneandsugarplums.com/scary-caesar-cocktails/ Mon, 03 Oct 2022 20:58:00 +0000 http://192.168.0.28:8010/?p=3807 The Caesar cocktail is a Canadian favourite any time of the year, but we decided to give it a frightful twist for Halloween. Scary Caesar Cocktail’s are similar to Bloody Mary’s, using Clamato juice in place of tomato, also just like a Bloody Mary, you can add your favourite flavours and garnishes to suit your taste. We used cocktail onions to create creepy Halloween eyeballs! We hope you enjoy this Halloween drink idea this season! This blog post may contain affiliate links. What does that mean? We may get a small commission if you make a purchase using our links, which helps us to keep posting new holiday content every week. This terrifying recipe has a spicy kick thanks to a mix of horseradish and hot sauce, and the onion eyeball stir stick ups the flavour and also the scare factor! But black vodka is the key to the Halloween vibe of this cocktail. There are a few brands of black vodka our there, and you should be able to find one at your local liquor store – especially after fall starts. What You’ll Need: Clamato Black vodka Horseradish Spices Lemon juice Hot sauce Worcestershire sauce Ice stones Mini skewers Cocktail onions Cocktail shaker Food colouring Toothpicks Scary Caesar Cocktails Pour the clamato juice into a cocktail shaker, and then add the seasonings and spices. Put the lid on the shaker and mix thoroughly. Add some ice (or ice stones if you prefer) to the bottom of a glass. Add the black vodka. To make the layering effect, use the back of spoon to gently pour the vodka so it settles nicely on top of the clamato juice. Thread three or four cocktail onions onto a mini skewer. And then use a toothpick to add dark circles (for pupils) and red squiggles to make eyeballs. Tip: Use some of the onion juice on top of the red food colouring to spread the colour for a blood-shot look. Cheers! If you’re looking for a frightful snack to serve with your Scary Caesar Cocktails, certainly check out our Creepy Quesadillas.
