What You’ll Need:

• Eggs
• Spray paint
• Gold, white and navy paint
• Brushes
• Stamps
• Ink pad

Spray paint some eggs in blue and leave some white. The blue will take a few coats so patience is key here, be sure to let them dry completely between layers. We have a lot of snow right now (and it wasn’t too cold out, spray paint doesn’t like the cold) so we used it as a stand to hold up our eggs, but a block of Styrofoam will work too.

Use an ink pad to stamp multiple pictures all over the some of the eggs. When stamping, gently roll the stamp onto the egg, this will help leave a full image and stop the stamp from slipping. Do half the egg, let dry, and then do the other side.

Paint colour blocks in white or blue onto the eggs and let dry.

Add gold to the eggs in various shapes and stripes.

Display the Easter eggs in a vase, terrarium, or bowl and then let your modern Easter decorating begin. Happy Crafting!

How do you make this delicious snack?

You will need varying amounts of:

• Pretzels
• Raisins
• Peanuts
• Cashews
• Almonds
• Sunflower seeds
• Malted Easter eggs 
• Easter m&m’s

There is only one step – Firstly…mix all ingredients together!   It certainly doesn’t matter how much of each ingredient you use, if you like salty snacks add more pretzels, if you prefer a sweeter mix, add more chocolate. Create a “fuller” bowl by adding more nuts, seeds and pretzels.

• 2 cups Pretzels
• 1 cup Easter m&m’s
• 1 cup Malted Easter Eggs
• 1 cup Salted Peanuts
• 1 cup Salted Sunflower Seeds
• 1/2 cup Raisins
• 1/2 cup Salted Cashews
• 1/2 cup Almonds

Instructions

• Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.

What you’ll need:

• Small clay pot
• Acrylic paint
• Paint brush
• Small Styrofoam ball
• Paper straw
• Easter ribbon
• Hot glue gun and sticks
• A little bit of Spanish moss
• Floral foam
• Utility or craft knife
• A few bags of mini eggs

Dry-brush the acrylic paint onto your clay pot. To get this effect, dip a small amount of paint onto your brush and then dab off most of that paint onto a paper towel before using small, quick brushstrokes onto the clay pot.

Using the knife, cut your floral foam down to fit inside the clay pot. It’s good if the foam is slightly larger than the pot so that when you push it in it fits snugly inside. Then push the paper straw into the Styrofoam ball to form the topiary base.

Start gluing the mini eggs onto the Styrofoam ball and continue until you cover the entire ball.  Put the hot glue onto the eggs instead of the foam so the foam doesn’t melt. Once all the eggs are attached, push the paper straw into the floral foam that inside the clay pot.

Finally, cut a piece of ribbon and tie it around the paper straw to complete your Mini Egg topiary.
